Holland & Barrett Vitamin C + Hyaluronic Acid Serum.
Vitamin C + Hyaluronic Acid Serum. The brighten and restore serum combines two known ingredients to improve hydration, restore clarity to un-even skin tone, and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Suitable for normal and combination skin, the serum contains only eight ingredients in total, and has been formulated to be suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Aqua - Water is used in cosmetics and is known as a solvent to dissolve the many ingredients that impart skin benefits. Water-based products layer well with other products to help the skin be better hydrated, which in-turn helps your products work and function more efficiently.
Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Water - A great anti-aging solution and for many skin complaints because of its vitamin C and citric acid potential. Citric Acid helps lighten age spots and reduce acne. whilst the vitamin C helps to stimulate collagen resulting in firmness improvement.
Propanediol - Naturally-derived from renewable corn sugar fermentation, it is skin-friendly and has humectant properties that draws moisture to the skin.
Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate - The stable, water-form of vitamin C, that is an antioxidant that protects the skin from free radical damage and effectively brightens the complexion.
Sodium Hyaluronate - Sodium Hyaluronate has small molecular's that can penetrate the skin more deeply and effectively. Skin is left hydrated because this ingredient draws moisture to the skin and stops moisture loss, helping to plump fine lines and wrinkles and improve the skins function barrier.
Sodium Benzoate - Used as a preservative to stop bacteria and fungi from developing in your products.
Potassium Sorbate - Used as a mild preservative in cosmetics and skin care formulations as a paraben alternative to prevent or retard the growth of microorganisms and helps keep your product from going-off.
Citric Acid - Known as an alpha hydroxy acid it is used in products to adjust the pH of the product and is known to gently exfoliate the skin. Exfoliating the skin has many benefits such as unclogging pores, shedding dead skin cells, which helps to brighten and smooth the complexion.
