BonChoix, a new UK-based online store offering high street and premium brand cosmetics in beauty boxes has launched! The concept of beauty boxes is hardly new, with existing companies charging subscriptions for a monthly box, but BonChoix charges no subscriptions and allows customers a complete choice of products.
“People can purchase whenever they like, and they can select what to put in their box from the items available in our online store,” says BonChoix’s director Jan Peterson. “All that we ask is that they put at least five items into each box.”
Those who shop online for cosmetics but who would rather avoid bargain-basement websites should come to BonChoix, he says. A range of high street brands will be appearing soon, among them Maybelline, MaxFactor, L’Oreal, Rimmel and Revlon.
“Although we sell premium brands such as Cargo, Urban Decay, YBF and OPI, we can afford to charge less than high street stores because we have lower overheads.”
Market research indicates that many online shoppers are put off by charges for deliveries and returns, and other hidden costs.
“We’re aware of that,” Mr Peterson says. “It’s why we offer free delivery to UK addresses, and why our prices are shown inclusive of VAT. And if you need to return products, we’ll pay the postage for that as well.”
The British are among the biggest online shoppers in the world, with more than a third of them purchasing beauty and personal care products online, and BonChoix sees exciting possibilities for the future.
“We do have plans to explore the market for male cosmetics and fragrances, but for now we’re concentrating on the female side. We also offer special pre-selected boxes for those who don’t know much about cosmetics or for those who don’t have time to wade through hundreds of products.”

The moisturiser arrives and is situated in the boxed Baldwin packaging that has

the description of the product on the back along with the ingredients and directions of how to use.
The moisturising lotion is in a squeezable tube with a flip open cap to dispense the product in your fingertips to then apply to a clean face. Once opened you must use the product within 12 months.
You will notice the lotion is of a white colour and as the text on the bottle states, this is a day moisture cream, so only use during the day. A fragrance can be detected when this is applied and smells of a soft masculine cologne, so if u do not like fragrances in your products, you may not like this.
Once the lotion is dispensed from the tube it glides over skin with ease and absorbs fast into the skin, leaving your skin soft and smooth without feeling greasy.
I can see this would make a great moisturiser for after shaving, when your skin is left a little dry and in need of soothing and moisture, or for someone who does not like heavy moisturises on their skin and is looking for a effective light moisturiser to use during the day.
You can also use this moisturising lotion with other products as it does not ball up or interact with them. Argan Blonde Silverising Conditioner.

The salon formula protective and silverising conditioner enriched with Argan Oil and UV filters to help protect colour and leave hair soft and shiny. The protective conditioner is specially formulated with Argan Oil and UV filters to help protect and maintain blond, highlighted and grey hair colour for longer lasting brightness and tone. The 250ml conditioner is a light purple colour compared to the shampoo. Distribute the conditioner through mid lengths to ends and you can leave it on your hair for 3-5 minutes. Leaving it on your hair for the longest time is a better option for the conditioner to really lavish your hair. My hair felt so soft through the rinsing stage and when towel drying felt moisturised without feeling heavy.

Argan Blonde Silverising & Toning Spray.

The Argan Blonde Silverising and Toning spray helps neutralise and protect against yellow, brassy tones in blond, highlighted and grey hair. Formulated with Argan Oil and Wheat Protein to help strengthen and nourish the hair, whilst UV filters protect against sun damage to ensure colour stays revitalised. Added Thermal Protection and styling agents, this silverising spray will leave the hair looking healthy, stronger and radiant with colour.

Shaking the 150ml spray bottle before use, spray evenly throughout damp hair and comb through so every strand is saturated. The spray head delivers a lovely amount of the product, so you only need a few sprays of this for your hair to be covered by either sectioning your hair before you spray or tipping your head forward and then back for application. This does have wheat protein in so u must be wary if you use any other products that are protein based. Using too much protein can make hair dry and brittle and eventually break off, so you must have a balance between moisture and protein.

Using each product from the Hair Xpertise Argan Blonde Silverising range was a pleasure to use and try. My hair felt lavished and cared for whilst my blond looked much brighter and generally more healthy. I saw no purple tinge or pigment left in my hair after styling and my hair did not feel dry in condition, great for a silverising range! Want to know more? APPLYING THE HYDRATING CLEANSER.

Massaging the Hydrating cleanser onto dry skin, you will notice the consistency is very light and silky. The colour of the cleanser is of a white colour and the scent is an inoffensive collection of pure natural aromas. 

After application you can either rinse off with warm water or with a damp muslin cloth, both ways work just as well. During the rinse off you will notice the hydrating cleanser washes away as a milky emulsion, leaving your skin deeply cleansed and extremely hydrated, perfect for the sensitive or dry skin types and the winter months where you skin becomes thirsty for hydration. You only need a little of the luxury cleanser that glides over your skin with ease, so i can tell the 100ml you receive is going to last more then a few months of use. The packaging is great as once you have finished using the cream, you can then pop it back into the tube, and it will be safely stored and out of sunlight until its next use.
