The Jason Organic Vitamin E 45,000IU Maximum Strength Oil can be used on the face, hands and body to deeply moisturise and condition the skin, whilst also helping to alleviate the uncomfortable feeling that is felt with unbalanced skin. Applied on its own or added into your favourite lotion or cream, the unscented skin oil features the beneficial ingredients:
  • Tocopheryl Acetate - known as vitamin E acetate, it is the ester of acetic acid and tocopherol (vitamin E). It helps to calm down unbalanced skin, whilst protecting it from harmful free radicals such as UV rays.
  • Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil (1) Certified Organic Ingredient - Presents itself with a high Vitamin E content that acts as an emollient to keep skin hydrated and prevent moisture loss.
  • Aleurites Moluccana Seed Oil - Containing essential fatty acids, vitamins and antioxidants that all work to help soothe dry skin and speed up wound healing, the oil is expressed from the nuts from the kukui nut tree.
  • Borago Officinalis Seed Oil - Helps to retain moisture and revitalise the skin because of its richest high-source of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA). It can help calm down any skin complaint, whilst also helping to regenerate and support the skin for an improved skin barrier function.
  • Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil - Rich in essential omega-6 fatty acid linoleic acid and vitamin E, it provides the skin with antioxidant protection that can help with the signs of ageing and protecting the skin from free radical damage.
  • Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil - Known as Macadamia nut oil, the monounsaturated fatty acids help to restore the skins moisture barrier to bring back balance to the skin, whilst helping to regenerate and soften for a more uniformed skin texture.
  • Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil - Rejuvenating the complexion with its fatty acid content, it can help provide elasticity and anti-inflammatory benefits to calm the skin.
  • Ribes Nigrum (Black Currant) Seed Oil - The essential fatty acid content provides antioxidant protection, whilst helping to improve moisture of the skin to relieve of dry skin problems and help with fine lines and wrinkles.
Presented in a bottle with a flip top lid, the nourishing oil you receive is 59ml/2 fl oz which does not sound alot until the application experience. The oil is of a thick consistency (you will only need a little) and glides over the skin easily, before absorbing into the skin when massaging it in. Applying to dry spots on the body, or rescuing dry hands and feet for a luxurious overnight treatment, the oil also helps to fight fine lines and wrinkles. I like to apply a facial oil in the last step of my facial routine because an oil can penetrate a serum and moisturiser (water based products cannot penetrate an oil they will sit on top) and using a facial oil can replenish the skin from the stresses it encounters throughout the day. It does not feel overly greasy or heavy on the skin and the complexion looks rested and restored the next morning, an essential maximum strength skin oil to include in your night skin care routine, x Neil.
