The Birchwolf Vita-Protect Facial Moisturiser has been formulated for all skin types and contains specific ingredients to hydrate, nourish, and protect the skin. The multi-tasking moisturiser is presented in an eye-appealing sealed bottle with a pump applicator that dispenses the perfect amount with each application. The vita-protect facial moisturiser formulation contains the following:

• Water (Aqua) - Used in formulations as a solvent, whilst also helping to form emulsions of oil and water that are known as lotions and creams.  
• Apricot kernel oil (Prunus armeniaca Kernel oil) - Rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, B17 and E the rich fatty acid oil helps to nourish and moisturise the skin, whilst offering antioxidant protection.  
• Emulsifying wax NF (Cetearyl alcohol & Polysorbate 60) - Used as an emulsifier because it stabilises the water-in-oil or oil-in-water formulations. 
• Sunflower oil (Helianthus Annuss seed oil) - High in nutrients and antioxidants, it is effective for many skin complaints because of its vitamin E and emollient properties.  
• Vegetable glycerin (glycerin) (veg) - A humectant that attracts moisture to the skin and keeps it there, whilst also having the same pH as the skin making it an ideal solution for problematic skin. 
• Olive oil (Olea Europaea oil) -  Containing vitamins A, D, E, and K, it is a great moisturiser for drier skin types and also has antioxidants benefits. 
• Coconut oil (Cocos Nucifera oil) - A natural skin-conditioning agent that also has antibacterial, antifungal, antioxidant and antimicrobial properties that help reduce inflammation and acneic skin types. 
• Shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii) - A rich fatty acid and vitamin content that provides anti-inflammatory benefits, whilst also providing softening and healing benefits to the skin. 
• Phenoxyethanol and Ethylhexylglycerin (Phenoxyethanol and Ethylhexylglycerin) - Used in formulations to provide anti-bacterial protection for cosmetic products.
• Stearic acid (Stearic acid) - Acts as a great emollient, whilst also helping to stop water loss from the skin and help the skins protective barrier function.
• Zinc oxide (Zinc oxide) - A natural, non-toxic sunscreen that protects against UVA and UVB light rays, whilst also helping to treat rashes and irritations of the skin. 
• Allantoin (Allantoin) - Soothing and protecting the skin, it also has great healing abilities and stimulates growth of healthier tissue. 
• Oat silk (Avena sativa meal extract) - Aiding formulations to provide a silky feeling, it also helps provide anti-inflammatory, moisturising, and soothing properties for all skin types. 
• Vitamin E (Tocopherol) - A powerful antioxidant that protects the skin from free radicals that can cause damage such as UV rays, it is a nice ingredient to use alongside an SPF, whilst also helping to soothe and nourish the skin. 
• Hyaluronic acid (Sodium hyaluronate) - Effective moisturiser that helps skin retain its moisture and replace any moisture lost caused by ageing or sun exposure. 
• Xanthan gum (Xanthan gum) -  Used in formulations as a stabiliser to help keep your product in top condition.
• Fig extract (Ficus Carica Fruit Extract) - Antioxidant that helps to address uneven skin tone by stopping the enzyme (tyrosinase) overproducing which can lead to dark spots, whilst also aiding in helping skins hydration by preventing water loss.  
• Bergamot essential oil (Citrus aurantium bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil) - Anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory benefits for spot prone and acne skin types, whilst also helping to promote a more uniformed skin tone.
• Citral*, Limonene*, Linalool* *Naturally occurring in essential oils.

Applying to the skin morning and evening, the light moisturiser instantly hydrates the skin when massaging gently with upwards motions.
