How To Use The Dr. Hauschka Translucent Bronzing Tint?

Dispensing one pump out into your moisturiser and mixing it in, i was impressed on how the sheer sun-kissed colour adapts to even the paler of complexions with its warm undertone but is not orange! It is mentioned that if you do use a richer based moisturiser to apply the bronzing tint afterwards to help it settle and dry-down easier for a non-greasy and non-shimmery finish. The other ways u can use it are to add a pump to your foundation to keep up with the ever changing seasonal weather while you can use your fingers or a sponge with applications. The bronzing tint can also be applied to the face where the sun would naturally hit and can easily be applied by dispensing a pump onto your hand and using a fluffy brush to pick the product up and sweep in the shape of a “3” (or an “E”) along the side of your face, hitting your temples, cheekbones, and jawline.

Applying as your first product, i was quite surprised how the light serum instantly absorbs into the skin leaving it feeling soft, smooth and looking hydrated whilst you can then proceed with your usual serum (if you wish), moisturiser and sunscreen. I experienced no piling or flaking off from the product and no adverse reactions you can experience with strong ingredients associated with skincare products to see results for example like retinols. The skin feels supple, looks hydrated, whilst appearing perfectly plumped all from applying just a one-a-day ampoule and finishing the 1 week supply. Applying a sunscreen is fairly easy by either applying it directly to the skin when no other products are used or applying it after your moisturiser making it the last product to use before makeup. I typically apply any sunscreen after my moisturiser to still be able to gain the skincare benefits from my current skincare routine and the products i am using. Picking a physical sunscreen (Zinc Oxide) these block out and reflects the uv rays, rather than chemical sunscreens that absorb the suns rays, converts them to heat, and then releases it from the body. Presented in a squeezable tube you receive 3 fl oz / 88 ml of product that should be applied liberally and evenly 15 minutes before sun exposure, reapplied after 80 minutes of swimming or wetting, and apply again after towel drying. The thick white cream glides over the skin easily and instantly nourishes and keeps skin hydrated because of the beneficial ingredients it contains. I really like how this does not leave the skin feeling sticky or greasy and because there is no fragrance added i can use this around my eyes with no complaints. 

The SALT & STONE sunscreen stick provides a broad spectrum protection with an spf value of 50 whilst it is water-resistant, reef safe, and is also fragrance free with a tint of colour for the face. Presented in a bag-friendly size, you receive 0.53 oz / 15g of product that u apply by twisting the bottom of the packaging to move the product up and then glide over the skin. It should be reapplied after 80 minutes of swimming or wetting, applied again after towel drying, and reapplied every 2 hours. The tint provides easily applications to allow you to see where you have applied it to the face so you don't miss any areas before the tint fades to leave the skin feeling hydrated but not sticky or greasy.

I have been using the mineral sunscreen every morning for over a month now and still have just over half a tube left, whilst i use the sunscreen stick to top-up during the day if im out and about in the sunshine. I reach for these products because they are easy to apply, do not sting my eyes, and leave my skin feeling perfectly balanced with hydration, but more importantly protected!
