During a shopping trip, i received an email from superdrug saying they had some exclusive offers on some products that was to buy one, get another product free.

I thought it would be worth a look to see which products are on offer and was surprised to find there was quite a few that usually are more on the high price range were included in this offer.
I decided to pick up my usual Garnier intensive exfobrusher ( a review on that product will be soon ).
So then i picked up the Garnier Pure Active MICELLAR Cleansing Water. Having heard all the hype about the micellar water and seen the adverts i thought, well its free with the offer so why not give it a try.
I do own a different micellar water from a different brand and that worked brill for me, but i review products on there own merits rather then setting a competition between them all.
With this micellar water, Garnier has surprised me as the bottle is quite bulky and you get 400ml which states you get 200 uses.
For me that was one of the appeals as you feel like your getting your moneys worth.
There was many in there range that stated for sensitive, normal. combination skin.
On this bottle it states combination to oily and sensitive skin which kind of ticked every box for me.
Its also can be used for lips and around eyes and no perfume or parbens is in this, so thats good for the sensitive skin types.
The look of this water is a pale blue colour and has a pop up lid that also snaps shut which stops leakage.

What i like about Garnier is that they tell you some informative information so you know your not putting tons of chemicals on your skin. Also there products are dermatologically tested.

So after a hectic day, i reached for this big bottle and the Cotton pads and was amazed at how refreshing it felt to swipe this over my skin. It was taking away all the daily stresses of that day and helping my skin breathe! 
My skin felt refreshed and clean without it feeling like some sort of paint stripper had been used and all the moisture has gone. 
This has the perfect balance of taking away the bad but leaving the good!
So the hype is true about this, if your looking for a micellar water then i highly recommend this one!
This retails as £4.99 at superdrug but for the size you get it doesn't leave you with a guilty conscience over spending money!

Fish Mens Hair Products Style With Ease

I was sent the Fish products to review and see what i thought of them. 
Fish have many products that will suit everyone's hair type and as they state on there website...........
Fish is a leading men's hairstyling range, including hair wax and men's hair gel.  All products are developed with the Fish salon in Soho, London.
They also have a styling page with helpful tips if you need some help.
Here's my thoughts ......

After receiving the Fish Classic long hair pack, i eagerly opened the box to see what products i had received.

The products are well branded with there logo on the lids and sides of the products.

There is clear descriptions on the back of what the product will do and also what u can achieve 

by them outlining there three points

1. The Style

2. The Finish

3. The Bonus.

With this particular product there is clear description of how to use on the peel label.

Rub a small amount of clay between palms, then work through dry or towel dried hair to create a roughed up style.

This is helpful so u know what to do rather than open the pot and hope for the best.

You also do receive a hair salon card to help you figure out which products are suitable for your length of hair.

The pot is blue and 70ml with a screw off and on lid.

You can for sure smell this product when opening the lid and when u also rub through hands to work into hair. It is quite a pleasant smell and not too over powering. Reminds me of a coconut smell. This product holds any style lasts through out the day. 

Easy to wash out and doesn't leave hair feeling tangled or damaged.

Overall this is a great product to use and would recommend.

To avoid flatness .Do not apply to roots.

Easy to wash out and doesn't leave hair feeling tangled or damaged.

Overall this is a great product to use and would recommend for wax addicts!

Work a pea sized amount between palms and apply to dry or towel dried hair from root to tip then style.

This is helpful so u know what to do rather than trying to figure out how how to use it..

The tube of this is dark blue and is 150 ml.

You can for sure smell this product when opening the lid and when u also rub through hands to work into hair. It is quite a pleasant smell and not too over powering. Reminds me of a fresh clean scent. This product claims it has memo-elastic technology with bounce back effect. 

So i put it to the test by wearing a hat and also if my hair would still be the same style after it had poured down with rain..... the truth .... it did! this does actually work! 

Easy to wash out and doesn't leave hair feeling tangled or damaged.

Overall this is a great product for any styling addict that wants to keep there style all day !

I came across this when there was a sale in asda and all the garnier ultimate blends range were reduced.
Having used the sleek perfector shampoo and conditioner and saw how good they worked on my blonde head of hair. I was eager to get my hands on the oil!
Now being a fan of hair oils ( I have tried many ). To not so good ones and some that left me thinking why haven't i used this before.
I do wonder is this going to work or am i going to be left with a head of hair that is in a worst state than before.
I look for a product that will check every box, so i don't have to use five different products to gain the look i want.
On the front of this bottle it does say multi-use which is a winner right from the start! 
Also states lightweight, which is good being i have fine hair i don't want it to be weighed down with half a ton of grease or stuck to my head that there is no movement.

I looked on the back and there is a clear label that states what purposes it achieves! I do like products like this as on some products they write in small text that u need a magnifier glass just to read it! 

It states :

*After Styling : It tames frizz and flyaways for the perfect sleek         look.

Now i have used. before washing and it does work as i feel even with using the most clarifying shampoo the hair is not stripped from all its oils. 
I have used this as a heat protectant on its own just to see if it can be used that way and my hair was left smooth and nourished.
To tame any flyaways i use a tiny amount on the roots and it doesn't weigh them down, 
If you love coconut then u will love this as the smell from this is quite strong! i have even smelt it in my hair the next day!
This is a pump bottle and its plastic which is an advantage in case you drop it and also u can see how much product is left in the bottle. I have also found there is no leakage from this bottle if knocked over or you decide to put it into your bag.
The oil itself is clear.
Two to three pumps in the palm of my hands and then it is well absorbed into the hair and no residue is left on you hands.
I started to use this after my blonde dye job and my hair has never felt better!
Overall i would rate this ten out of ten!

With the sunny weather recently i was looking for a sun block for the face.
Sun protection being important and there's loads of products for the body but there wasn't really many that you could use for your face.
I spotted this and quickly picked it up to see if this was suitable.
They actually do this little bottle in SPF 15 OR SPF 30. So i chose the SPF 30.

On the front of the bottle it says 12 H Moisturisation. Hydration.
Oil Free/Non Greasy.
Sounds good to me being if you suffer with acne or have oily skin you don't want to aggravate it more by piling on more oil that's going to clog pores and break you out,

On the back it states
Very water resistant . Dermatologist tested. Light weight feel. Suitable for use under make up.

The bottle is a pump and was priced around 3.00 pounds which isn't bad for a 50 ml.
The cream looks like strawberry ice cream when looking at it in the little bottle and this does have a slight fragrance to it like a coconut light smell.
This is a thick cream but absorbs well into the face and doesn't feel sticky and remains matte looking all day. It hasn't broke me out or upset my skin in any way .
Don't be put off by the small size of this, a little does go a long way.
Overall this is a GREAT little sun protector for the face. 
This is recommended by the skin care foundation international and also recommended as an effective UVA and UVB  sunscreen.
I will for sure be repurchasing this little gem!

It has a lovely fragrance and the sensation on the scalp is refreshing and cool . It leaves your tresses looking healthy, shiny , smooth , and for sure puts moisture back in !

I spotted this, being that i have been using Garnier products quite a lot recently (see my other review) that this was a new product i hadn't spotted before.
When i picked this off the shelf i saw on one side that it said BEAUTY SLEEP on the side of the box, We all need some beauty sleep now and then.
What grabbed my attention was the word RECOVERY. Our skin goes through life's stresses now and then so this spoke volumes to me!

I quickly looked at the back of the box, as this is what i like about Garnier's products, they tell you exactly what its going to do and if it is suited for you.
Not like when you buy a product and there's nothing on the packaging to tell you if its suited for you, so u approach the till to pay. Saying a little prayer you wont be out of pocket with a product that's not going to work for you.

When i took the lid off a pleasant fruity flower fragrance greeted me which smelt good enough to eat! Don't eat it though! :)
Also the gel-cream is is a pale blue colour which makes a change from the just white moisturisers.
I was surprised as this feels so soft and also when applied to the face does glide on. Doesn't feel sticky at all and absorbs into the skin well.
It felt so refreshing to the skin and didn't feel heavy, allowing my skin to definitely breathe!
Best of all, the next morning my skin did look refreshed and renewed!
I had no reaction to this and this hasn't broke me out!

This retails for £3.99 and for 50ml that is quite good value as your not breaking the bank.
So if your looking for a night time moisturiser to show your skin some love then this little beauty wont disappoint until the next review , take care x

John Frieda full repair heat activated style spray is what i came across when the sale shelf was approaching me.

I was interested in this product as being a blonde and using heat styling tools anything saying full repair would speak volumes to me. 

Who would want to turn down a claim if u could put some goodness back into your locks. Right?

So as i was reading the box it claims on the front.... REVERSES damage with every use, Sounds like a winner already! 

The detail on the back states REVERSES the look and feel of damage with every use, sounds even Better!

As i read more they state;

Our breakthrough styling spray, with lightweight lnca lnchi oil adds manageability, body and flexible hold to any style. Works with heat tools to create shiny, versatile styles that lasts all day.

Protects against breakage from high-heat damage.

You can use on wet or towel dried hair.

One of the main points for me is you can use this on colour treated hair and chemically treated hair

which is a bonus as some of us do like the dye bottle more than others.....me!

When spraying into hair i would apply just enough to cover all your hair and comb through making sure u coat every hair strand.

This does have a nice smell to it bearing in mind there is oil in it, but for me it wasn't too over powering. Unlike some products that leave your hair smelling like you have been dunked head first in some sort of outdated perfume. It also made my hair feel smoother and shinier , 

Plus this works with heat tools so you know your not frying your hair to the maximum.

The bottle does last quite a reasonable time so for me it is good value for money! 

So if your looking for a product to help protect and nourish, whilst giving your locks some loving this is an ideal product to use!
