Ecooking Moisturising Serum.

Presented in recyclable packaging, the serum is in a brown bottle with pump applicator for easy dispensing onto the skin. The benefits before we get onto the formulation is that the serum is alcohol free, fragrance free, and also essential oil free, making it be a great product to select if you have reactive and sensitive skin, or if you cannot tolerate these ingredients in general. • Aqua - Solvent for ingredients but also does provide hydration to the skin.
• Propanediol - Produced from corn sugar it helps ensure skin moisturisation whilst also being a good base for ingredients to be in.
• Glycerin - Humectant that hydrates the skin whilst also drawing moisture from the air and improving the skins barrier function. 
• Sodium PCA - Found naturally in the skin, this ingredient helps hydrate the skin and keep the moisture content within it. 
• Xanthan Gum - Added to formulations to change the texture and enhance the feel of it when used.
• Sodium Levulinate -  Helps to improve the condition of the skin for improved softness.
• Pseudoalteromonas Ferment Extract - Fermentation from marine bacteria this multitasking ingredient can protect the skin from dryness whilst stimulate and promote skin regeneration for smoother skin. It is also helpful to balance sebum production for oilier skin types.
• Potassium Sorbate - Preservative to keep the product functioning at its best and bacteria free.
• Caprylyl Glycol - Boosts other preservatives used in a formulation.
• Phenoxyethanol - Preservative used to keep the products potential at its best and bacteria free. 
• Citric Acid - Exfoliant that helps the skin feel smooth and look bright by helping to remove the dead skin cells.
• Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein - Moisturising benefits that helps keep the epidermis of the skin hydrated whilst it also film forms to give you that skin-tightening sensation. 
• Ethylhexylglycerin- Boosts other preservatives whilst also aiding in improving skin condition because of its helpful emollient action.
• Hydrolyzed Soy Protein - Helps the skin to hold onto moisture to restore suppleness and improve the complexion.
• Butylene Glycol - Humectant that draws moisture to the skin whilst also helping any product penetrate and feel nice on the skin.
• Lecithin - Restores hydration and helps the skin feel smooth thanks to its emollient action. 
• Glucose -  Water-binding properties that keeps skin hydrated and comfortable.
• Carrageenan - Used in formulations to help thicken or stabilise whilst its water-binding action helps keep the skin hydrated. 
• Tripeptide-10 Citrulline - A new peptide that increases improved suppleness of the skin.
• Carbomer - Used in formulations to help liquids turn to gels and have a nice feel on the skin without being sticky or tacky,   
• Triethanolamine - Used as a pH adjuster to set the pH of a product. 
• Tripeptide-1 - A peptide that signals to the skin that new collagen should be made. 

The vegan friendly and dermatologically tested serum is superb when applied to the skin after cleansing morning and night. It glides over the skin easily and absorbs really quickly to leave the skin feeling immediately hydrated and comfortable.
